3. Hosting und Server-Logfiles
Diese Website wird bei der easyname GmbH, Canettistraße 5/10, 1100 Wien, Österreich, gehostet (Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag nach Art. 28 DSGVO). Beim Aufruf verarbeitet der Server technisch notwendige Daten (IP-Adresse, Zeitpunkt, aufgerufene Adresse, Browserkennung, verweisende Seite) in Logfiles. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
4. Cookies und lokaler Speicher
Ohne Konto setzen wir keine Cookies. Im lokalen Speicher Ihres Browsers (localStorage) liegen: Ihr Spielstand (eldruna_game_v2, bei Anmeldung mit einem Vermerk, zu welchem Konto er gehört), die Ton-Einstellung (eldruna_game_snd) und die Sprachwahl (eldruna_lang). Meldet sich auf demselben Gerät ein anderes Konto an, wird der vorige Stand lokal als Kopie aufbewahrt (eldruna_game_v2_prev). Diese Einträge verlassen Ihr Gerät nur, wenn Sie angemeldet sind (Abschnitt 6). Nur nach der Anmeldung setzen wir das technisch notwendige Cookie nw_sess (nur für Anfragen an /api/, gültig bis 90 Tage nach der letzten Nutzung oder bis zur Abmeldung). Rechtsgrundlage ist § 165 Abs. 3 TKG 2021 (unbedingt erforderlich) und Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO.
5. Google Fonts
Schriftarten werden beim Seitenaufruf von Google-Servern geladen (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland); dabei wird Ihre IP-Adresse an Google übermittelt. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (einheitliche Darstellung).
6. Spielkonto und Bestenliste
Ein Konto ist freiwillig und ab 16 Jahren möglich. Alle Spiele sind ohne Konto spielbar. Bei der Registrierung verarbeiten wir Spielernamen und E-Mail-Adresse; das Passwort legen Sie erst auf der Bestätigungsseite fest, es wird nur als Argon2id-Hashwert gespeichert. Weiter verarbeiten wir: Sprache, Zeitpunkte von Registrierung, Bestätigung und Mailversand, Abzeichen, Ihren Spielstand in der Cloud, gewertete Läufe (Spiel, Schlachtfeld, Figur, Punkte, Kills, Dauer, Level, Sieg, Startwert, Spielversion, Zeitpunkte und ein Vermerk, ob der Lauf plausibel war) und Anmeldesitzungen (Zeitpunkt der Anmeldung und der letzten Nutzung). Zweck ist die Bereitstellung des Kontos, des geräteübergreifenden Spielstands und der Bestenlisten. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (Nutzungsvertrag nach den Nutzungsbedingungen).
Öffentlich sichtbar sind in den Bestenlisten nur Spielername, Punkte, Platz und das Gründer-Abzeichen. Wählen Sie bitte keinen Namen, der Sie gegen Ihren Willen identifiziert.
Sicherheit und Fairness: Zum Schutz vor Missbrauch zählen wir Anfragen pro Verbindung (IP-Adresse, bei IPv6 das Netz) und pro E-Mail-Adresse in Zeitfenstern von Minuten bis zu 30 Tagen. Gespeichert wird nur ein verschlüsselter Prüfwert, der spätestens zwei Tage nach Ablauf des jeweiligen Fensters gelöscht wird. Unplausible Läufe werden nicht gewertet. Fehlerprotokolle (ohne E-Mail-Adressen) bewahren wir höchstens zwei Monate auf. Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (sicherer und fairer Betrieb).
E-Mails zum Konto (Bestätigungslink, Passwort zurücksetzen) versenden wir als reinen Text ohne Werbung und ohne Öffnungs- oder Klickmessung über Brevo (Abschnitt 7) von no-reply@nordwaldrecords.com. Brevo protokolliert dabei die Zustellung (Empfänger, Zeitpunkt, Status).
Speicherdauer: Nicht bestätigte Konten werden nach 7 Tagen gelöscht. An eine unbestätigte Adresse schicken wir höchstens drei Bestätigungsmails. Bestätigte Konten bleiben gespeichert, bis Sie sie löschen. Anmeldesitzungen enden 90 Tage nach der letzten Nutzung. Im Spielprofil können Sie jederzeit eine Kopie Ihrer Daten herunterladen (Art. 15 und 20 DSGVO) und das Konto mit allen Spieldaten und Bestenlisten-Einträgen löschen.
7. Newsletter
Bei der Registrierung können Sie über ein eigenes, nicht vorausgewähltes Kästchen den Eldruna-Newsletter bestellen; das Konto hängt nicht davon ab. Auf der Bestätigungsseite wählen Sie gleichwertig zwischen "Konto und Newsletter" und "nur Konto". Sie können den Newsletter auch später im Profil bestellen oder abbestellen. Für den Versand nutzen wir Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Deutschland; Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag). Im Newsletter erfasst Brevo, ob er geöffnet und welche Links angeklickt wurden; wir werten das statistisch aus. Rechtsgrundlage ist Ihre Einwilligung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO), widerrufbar jederzeit über den Link in jeder Ausgabe oder im Profil.
Als Nachweis Ihrer Einwilligung speichern wir Zeitpunkt, IP-Adresse, Browserkennung, Sprache und die Fassung des Einwilligungstextes; die E-Mail-Adresse steht in diesem Nachweis nur als verschlüsselter Prüfwert. Den Nachweis bewahren wir für die Dauer der Einwilligung und drei Jahre nach ihrem Ende (Widerruf oder Kontolöschung) auf (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. c und f, Art. 17 Abs. 3 lit. e DSGVO). Nach einer Abmeldung bleibt die Adresse bei Brevo nur als Sperreintrag oder für andere Listen, die Sie selbst abonniert haben; nach einer Kontolöschung entfernen wir den Brevo-Kontakt, wenn nichts anderes daran hängt.
8. Weitere Speicherdauer
Im Übrigen speichern wir personenbezogene Daten nur so lange, wie es für die genannten Zwecke erforderlich ist oder gesetzliche Aufbewahrungsfristen es verlangen.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, withdrawal of consent and objection. You can lodge complaints with us or with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at).
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by easyname GmbH, Canettistraße 5/10, 1100 Vienna, Austria (data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR). On each request the server processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, requested address, browser identifier, referring page) in log files. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Cookies and local storage
Without an account we set no cookies. Your browser's local storage holds: your game progress (eldruna_game_v2, when signed in with a note which account it belongs to), the sound setting (eldruna_game_snd) and the language choice (eldruna_lang). If another account signs in on the same device, the previous progress is kept locally as a copy (eldruna_game_v2_prev). These entries only leave your device while you are signed in (section 6). Only after signing in do we set the technically necessary cookie nw_sess (sent only with requests to /api/, valid until 90 days after last use or until you sign out). Legal basis: § 165(3) Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (strictly necessary) and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
5. Google Fonts
Fonts are loaded from Google servers on page load (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), which transmits your IP address to Google. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (consistent presentation).
6. Game account and leaderboard
An account is voluntary and available from 16 years. All games can be played without an account. At sign-up we process your player name and email address; you set the password only on the confirmation page, and it is stored only as an Argon2id hash. We further process: language, times of sign-up, confirmation and sent emails, badges, your cloud progress, ranked runs (game, battlefield, character, score, kills, duration, level, victory, seed, game version, times and a note whether the run was plausible) and sign-in sessions (time of sign-in and of last use). The purpose is to provide the account, progress across devices and the leaderboards. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (user agreement under the terms of use).
Publicly visible on the leaderboards are only player name, score, rank and the Founder badge. Please do not choose a name that identifies you against your will.
Security and fairness: to prevent abuse we count requests per connection (IP address, for IPv6 the network) and per email address in time windows from minutes up to 30 days. Only an encrypted check value is stored and deleted at the latest two days after the respective window ends. Implausible runs are not counted. Error logs (without email addresses) are kept for at most two months. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (safe and fair operation).
Account emails (confirmation link, password reset) are sent as plain text without advertising and without open or click tracking via Brevo (section 7) from no-reply@nordwaldrecords.com. Brevo logs the delivery (recipient, time, status).
Storage period: unconfirmed accounts are deleted after 7 days. We send at most three confirmation emails to an unconfirmed address. Confirmed accounts are kept until you delete them. Sign-in sessions end 90 days after last use. In your game profile you can download a copy of your data at any time (Art. 15 and 20 GDPR) and delete the account with all game data and leaderboard entries.
7. Newsletter
When signing up you can order the Eldruna newsletter via a separate box that is not pre-ticked; the account does not depend on it. On the confirmation page you choose with equal weight between "account and newsletter" and "account only". You can also subscribe or unsubscribe later in your profile. We send it via Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany; data processing agreement). In the newsletter, Brevo records whether it was opened and which links were clicked; we evaluate this statistically. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the link in every issue or in your profile.
As proof of your consent we store the time, IP address, browser identifier, language and the version of the consent text; in this record your email address is only an encrypted check value. We keep this proof for the duration of the consent and three years after it ends (withdrawal or account deletion) (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f), Art. 17(3)(e) GDPR). After unsubscribing, your address stays at Brevo only as a block entry or for other lists you subscribed to yourself; after an account deletion we remove the Brevo contact if nothing else depends on it.
8. Other storage periods
Otherwise we store personal data only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention periods.
